Calling all small business owners in & around Hastings, St. Leonards (& beyond!). This event is for you! I am delighted to share with you my absolutely beautiful Spring event ~ the Small Business Spring Social.
I have been thinking about this since my Small Business Festive Brunch, & I am so happy to announce that I am holding a Small Business Spring Social at The Humble Hub in St. Leonard’s on Sunday 11th May.
It’s going to be an amazing opportunity to connect with other small businesses & enjoy some delicious drinks & food whilst taking some much-needed time just for you as we move into the new season. Spring is a time for new beginnings, fresh energy, light, action, & for carving out some new goals, aspirations and for focusing your energy to garner clarity and a sense of direction.
Running a small business can be hard & if you are a one-person-band like me, you might not have the opportunity to relax in the company of, and chat with fellow business owners. Sooo, I am combining my passions for wellbeing & for creating community to bring you the most beautiful 2 hours of Spring self care to make you feel AMAZING! It’s so important to take some time out, to recharge and to feel grounded & alighted within your mind, body & would & I have the most amazing things lined-up for this magical Social.
The Small Business Spring Social is open to all small businesses in and around the Hastings & St. Leonard’s areas; whether you’re solo business owner, you have a small team of legends, or a slightly larger group of magical people, this brunch is for all of you!

MY VISION FOR THE SOCIAL:
I truly believe that I envisioned this brunch waaaaay back when River was a tiny little tot. We were slap-bang in the middle of lockdown & I made a promise to myself that as soon as the time was right, I would channel my energy into creating some beautiful events that would bring people together. Fast-forward almost 4 years, and here we are!
My wish is for the Social to be all about connection, not just with the beautiful souls attending, but with yourself also. Life is hectic, we are pulled in all directions & sometimes we just need to put the brakes on, switch off and look inwards. We have the answers within us, we just need to turn down the outside noise & listen.
I want you to feel boosted, grounded, aligned, energised & full of love & light through the connections you’ve made. Small business life has many twists & turns and it’s nice to meet others who are walking the same path.
ONCE YOU’VE PURCHASED YOUR TICKET:
• Once you’ve claimed your SBSS spot, you will receive an email from me explaining a little bit more about the event, what to bring with you & whether you have any allergies or intolerances.
• The Humble Hub has enough mats for each attendee, but if you would like bring your own mat, please feel free to do so.
• There are blankets at the Hub, but please feel free to bring your own if you’d prefer.
• A couple of weeks before the Social, I’ll pop you a further email to say “hi”, and to remind you that your are MAGIC!!
SOME WORDS OF COMFORT FOR THOSE COMING SOLO!
To the beautiful ones who have contacted me and will be coming solo. There is absolutely nothing to worry about if you are feeling anxious about coming by yourself. It is going to be such a warm, calm, welcoming and nurturing space with so many beautiful souls - you have nothing to fear. I will be there with hugs aplenty and I know that you are going to love it. There will be a 15 minute window at the beginning to get settled, enjoy your kombucha mocktail and ground yourself. I hope to allay any fears either beforehand or once you arrive - it’s going to be beautiful xxx

The Small Business Spring Social is open to all small business owners in and around Hastings & St. Leonard’s. Whether you are self employed, a duo, or a team of 10, you are all welcome to join this very special event.
